- Name and phone number — used to identify you, contact you about your order, and look up your order history.
- Delivery address — used only to deliver your order.
- Order details — items, customizations, special instructions, and order total.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or expiration date. We may store the last four digits of your card and a Stripe-issued reference token to enable repeat purchases.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device information — device model, operating system version, app/browser version, and a unique installation or session identifier used for diagnostics.
- Crash and performance data — anonymized error reports collected via Sentry to help us fix bugs.
- Push notification token (mobile app) — if you opt in to notifications, we store an Expo-issued token tied to your installation so we can notify you about order status. You can revoke this in your device settings at any time.
- Cookies and browser storage (website) — essential cookies support site functionality (cart persistence, account sessions). You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
Information You Choose to Share
- Location (mobile app) — used only when you actively track a delivery, to show your driver's location relative to yours. Location is not collected in the background.
- Camera and Photos (mobile app, drivers only) — used by Jimmy's delivery drivers to capture proof-of-delivery photos. Customers do not need camera access.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Process, prepare, and deliver your orders.
- Communicate with you about your order (SMS, push notifications, in-app messages).
- Provide order history and saved-cart features.
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Improve the Services through anonymized crash and usage data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Sharing With Third Parties
We share information only with the service providers required to operate the Services:
- Stripe — payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Twilio — SMS notifications about your order.
- Expo — push notification delivery.
- Sentry — anonymized crash reporting.
- Google Maps — for displaying maps and routing. See policies.google.com/privacy.
- Delivery drivers employed or contracted by Jimmy's, who receive only the delivery address and order details required to complete your delivery.
We may also disclose information when legally required (subpoena, court order) or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Jimmy's, our customers, or the public.
4. Data Retention
- Order history is retained as long as your account exists, so you can reorder past meals.
- Crash reports are retained for 90 days.
- You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see below).

- Request deletion of your account and personal information.
- Opt out of push notifications at any time in your device settings.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, encrypted storage, restricted access) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if you have reason to believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you in the Services. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
